Smells like: pipe tobacco, black violets, a leather armchair, dying embers

If the official mascot of Austin is the bat, the unofficial mascot is certainly the grackle. These beady-eyed birds haunt Austin parking lots with the steadfastness of Poe's raven, and I doubt it would surprise any resident of this city to learn that a group of them is called a "plague." Here I have honored the bedeviling blackbirds with a more gothically romantic scent than they probably deserve. Quoth the grackle, "Are you going to finish that?"

**********

Soy wax candles burn long and clean, and each metal tin can easily be wiped out and re-used.

All of my candles are hand-poured in very small batches (by me), and all labels are handwritten (by me), so expect some slight variation in appearance. Otherwise, I would be a robot. And that would be WILD.
